Heading into what is already proving to be a busy 2019, Justin Hogg is thrilled to release his brand new single “Just Drive”. The Alberta native from the small town of Morinville is piggy-backing on the success of his debut single, “Smoke Signals”, and his follow up Kiss You Instead”, both of which received nation-wide radio airplay for Justin, introducing him to listeners across Canada.  For this new single (co-written by James Murdoch of The Dungarees), Justin again partnered with Johnny Gasparic at the CCMA award-winning MCC  Recording Studios in Calgary.

Having journeyed through various musical styles over the years from rock to acoustic indie, Justin has truly found his roots in the country music scene. Drawing on influences like Keith Urban and Hunter Hayes, his style is a blend of country, rock, and pop music with his own twist of originality. His style and talent resulted in over 75 performances and two CCMA showcases in 2018, including proudly representing Alberta as part of the ACMA contingent in Hamilton.  Additionally, Justin earned a coveted spot in the line up at the 2018 ACMA “Fanfest” event held during the ACMA Awards weekend, building off of his 2017 nod from the Alberta Country Music Awards, for “Smoke Signals” for song of the year.

Justin’s adaptable style translates well across multiple venue styles, from small intimate stages to larger festival stages, and his boyish charm and good nature allows him to connect effortlessly with his audience.

Having been offered opening slots for Brett Kissel, High Valley, George Canyon, Adam Gregory and Charlie Major among others, Justin takes every opportunity to learn from the experience of artists that have paved the way for others in Canadian Country Music. With two singles already set to go in 2019, it’s full steam ahead for Justin Hogg!
