BIOGRAPHY

An upbeat and laid-back country sound is the signature style of Canadian country artist, Justin Hogg. As he heads into a promising year, Justin is thrilled to have just released his 6th studio single as the sole writer on his new song, “That’s How I Know”, which he recorded with multi-platinum award-winning producer Jeff Dalziel. Justin has received nation-wide radio airplay and has charted in the Top 100 on the Trax Report with his song, “Just Drive”, introducing him to listeners all across Canada. On the heels of his latest single, “Good Thing Going On”, Justin’s style continues to evolve.

Having journeyed through various musical styles over the years from rock to acoustic indie, Justin has truly found his roots in the country music scene. Drawing on influences like Keith Urban and Hunter Hayes, his style is a blend of country, rock, and pop music with his own twist of originality. Justin’s adaptable style translates well across multiple venue styles, from small intimate settings to larger festival stages, and his boyish charm and good nature allows him to connect effortlessly with his audience. Justin continues to write music with the goal of connecting with his listeners and providing them with the soundtrack to a good time. Justin has received Songwriter of the Year nominations at the Country Music Alberta Awards in both 2019 and 2017.

From the small town of Morinville, Alberta, Justin has continued to expand his audience over the years. This has resulted in over 150 performances and two CCMA showcases within the past two years (pre covid) alone. Justin has a strong connection with his hometown community and was recently honored as the recipient of the 2021 Pride of Morinville Award by Mayor Turner. His hard work and dedication to his craft have afforded him opportunities to open for the likes of country superstars Jess Moskaluke, Brett Kissel andHigh Valley, among many others.
